Alanna Renee Cosmetics 'Reptar'

Hey peeps,

Short and sweet one today. This one is by Alanna Renee and its called 'Reptar'. Remember the show called 'Rugrats' from the 90's. Yep. Tommy's toy dinosaur thing. Yep.

'Reptar' is a light green cream base with white, grey, black, green and red glitters in it.

The pic is one (YES, ONE! SUPER OPAQUE. BIG PLUS FOR ME) coat with 2 coats of Seche Vite. BUT it looked super awesome and textured without top coat!

July's What's In-die Box - Lilypad Lacquer 'Little Miss Haughty Taughty'

Since its nearly the end of July, I thought I should show you the last of the Little Miss themed, July What's In-die Box.

This one is by Lilypad Lacquer and its called 'Little Miss Haughty Taughty'.

'Little Miss Haughty Taughty' is a clear base with various shapes and sizes of green glitter, blue glitter, pink glitter and yellow glitter.

The pics below have 2 coats of the polish over MUD 'Dark Room'. Then finishef with 2 coats of Seche Vite.

Celebrating the Year of the Blogger

Hello peeps,

Today I have to share with you my FIRST piCture pOlish shades AND my FIRST tutorial!!! 

I was SO STOKED to be chosen to be a part of this year's Blog Fest by piCture pOlish, which entailed piCture pOlish sending me (free of charge) THREE shades to create a mani and a tutorial to go along with it. 

The three shades I was sent. 'antique', 'beige', and 'pshiiit'.

First, though, here is a picture with swatches of the shades. I did this first to get a feel for the colours and to see how quickly they built up to opactity so I could plan my mani.

All three shades took 2 coats to reach opacity. 'antique' is the biggest pic here as it turned out to be my favourite!

I should point out that for this mani, I did use fake nails as I had a few bad breaks, and had to trim down to nubs, and I felt my lil nubs just did not do justice to these three fabulous shades.
